Abstract

This thesis was prepared to design and implement water height-reading system that can transmit information to receivers by using SMS. This system was one capable of knowing water height by applying a method of measuring the water height calibration from Potensio reference tension the output of which had been set by a microcontroller through port 2.0 and 2.1. If the tension of water height monitoring system are at 5cm, 10 cm, 15 cm, and 20 cm, then the microcontroller would send a warning by sender’s cellular phone to receiver’s one that the condition of water height is 5cm, 10 cm, 15 cm, and 20 cm. After conducting a test and then analyzed, it could be concluded that the system was generally workable well. However, there were some drawbacks in this testing process , namely, how can the HP battery could be charged automatically and it was hoped that water height information set could be done by PC.
