Radio PBS FM is one of radio which has the aim to entertain its audience. In Radio PBS FM has a process of system polling which has the aim to know how many audience taking a fancy with music type, artist or singer and its song title. This system polling has a lot of problems, one of them it is hard to collect and to group the request from hearer. As a result of the research from observer has done, observer intended to help to solve problems in radio PBS FM, there are with design or making an application polling short message service (SMS) in radio PBS FM. For reach those aim, then observer is doing steps which are from step analysis and design system with UML (Unified Modeling Language) with using Use Case Diagram, Sequence Diagram, Collaboration Diagram and Class Diagram with using IBM Rational Rose 7.0 Enterprise Edition software. While for implementation application of polling SMS in Radio PBS FM, there are using Visual Basic 6.0 language programming, Microsoft Access 2003 for database, Crystal Report 8.5 and Active-X Control Mobile FBUS Lite Version. And for system development method, there are using prototyping method and system approach object oriented method. This System made for repair the system polling and to be able produce the information about polling SMS with quickly, precisely and accurate report.
