Abstract

P3TkN – BATAN Bandung is a research institute non department in peripatetic of research area, exploiting nuclear energy and development in Indonesia. This Institute is not yet owned a information system able to assist fluency activity loaning and return of inventory so that depository process of data still use manual system on document archives. Based on this fact, and due to the growth of the data’s that heap progressively day by day, most of the employees were forced by the company to work harder more than usual. So, it is hard for them to find out the particular data that company needed. Moreover, the difficulties on seeking of this data can be confiscated the time, both during the enumeration of the availability stocks and on making of its loaning and return report, whether as a daily report or a periodical report in weekly, monthly, and annual. Attendance Information System of loaning and return inventory at reactor area in P3TkN – BATAN hopefully can be assisted, especially on executing loaning and return activities which until now had not been computerized. The research method used is descriptive analysis. Besides, the development used in designing this information system is the prototype method and the approaching of the system used are Diagram context, Data of Flow Diagram (DFD), Dictionary Data, Normalization, Tables of Relationship, and Diagram of Entity Relationship (ERD). And the instruments which are used during making of this software is Borland Delphi 7 and Microsoft My SQL By applied this system of processing data, the loaning and return which was now have been computerized and was working based on its client server can be arranged more controlled so that can be managed better.
