This Research purpose is to know how far materials bentonites serve the purpose of mixture materials to improve the soil stability. In the research the sample have taken away from Cadas Pangeran and than the experimental doing in laboratory ITB Bandung. The Result of research which have been executed show contribution bentonite materials to strength as under foundation layer and/or top foundation layer to the is minimum value compared to the value of cement mixture, although bentonite mixture itself can improve his strength from the original soil strength, but fixed have under specified. Beside owned by the insuffiency it in giving strength the road structure (foundation layer), bentonite materials have other excess by owning the high enough value of soil cohesion and permeability coefficient. With the excess hence mixture soil-bentonite more according to destined at shoulder to influence drainage system of the road, besides suited for used as by the fill materials in slope because of the bentonite mixture have the good enough cohesive value in soil and his ability to conduct the water in soil.
