Abstract

Intersection is the most potential in traffic problem. The problem is caused by a conflict between vehicles, vehicles and walker, and also between vehicles and people who crosses the road, it is able to be increased with many traffic accident. Traffic problem is also caused by the uncapable of highway development can not balance with transportation development high development of economical and socialis unbalanced with physical development. The effect is urban has a problem in transportation path such as traffic accident, and traffic problem in everywhere. Those problems are a view monitorized in the intersection of Ir. H. Djuanda- Cikapayang region, Bandung. Where in certain hours traffic problems are happened oftenly, also a significant traffic problem is happened in one of the phase, it shall bring out aproblem and influence other phase so that become an accident. Based on the condition of land function around Ir. H. Djuanda Cikapayang intersection which has many buildings such as shops, Bank, Offices, Schools, University and recreation spot, so can be concluded that a replanning of traffic management to optimalize the intersection.
