HIJAB, WHY NOT?? Why are Muslim women wear Hijab (covering the head and the body) It just because Allah has told them to do that Al-Nur : 31 "They (the believing women) should draw their head coverings over their bosoms...". . Al-Ahzab:59: "O Prophet [SAW] Tell thy wives and daughters and the believing women that they should put on their outer garments; that is most convenient in order that They may be recognize (as Muslims) and not be molested."For Muslim women, wear hijab is not sign of degradation or oppression. It is a commandment from Allah, who is not male or female, and thus, would not discriminate against women, a segment of His creation. A Muslim woman who wear hijab is making a statement about her identity. Anyone who sees her will know that she is a Muslim and has a good Islam character. Many Muslim women who wear hijab are filled with dignity and self esteem; they are pleased to be identified as a Muslim woman. As a chaste, modest, pure woman, she does not want her sexuality to enter into interactions with men in the smallest degree. A woman who covers herself is concealing her sexuality but allowing her femininity to be brought out. It highlights the Muslim woman as a pure, chaste woman and sets her apart from the immoral behavior associated with women who dress immodestly. The Hijab allows a woman to move about outside the confines of her home with her attention on the tasks she has set out to do. The Muslim woman does not try to impress anyone but Allah when outside of her home. She is not concerned if men find her attractive, or if people are impressed because she has the latest fashions, or the newest hairstyle. She leaves her home not as a fashion-plate seeking stares and adoration in order to gain self-esteem. Muslims believe that God gave beauty to all women, but that her beauty is not be seen by the world, When she wear a hijab, she puts herself on a higher level and men will look at her with respect and she is noticed for her intellect , faith ,and personality, the most important thing is a men will look at her not for her physic beauty but a men will look after because of ALLAH (Subhanallah!)
