The report entitled �¢����The Role of English Translation as Medium to Preserve the Heritages of Indonesia�¢����s Culture in Geology Museum�¢���� was written based on job training in Geology Museum which was conducted on December 15th to December 31nd 2008. The method used is descriptive. By using this method, the activities of translating the data were described. The data itself were taken from Geology Museum website, in the form of Indonesia transcriptions of the heritage of Indonesia�¢����s culture. The result of this job training shows that the problem emerged by the different structure can be accomplished by reconstructing the data source�¢����s structure. The other problem is how to adjust meaning component of source language to target language by considering its structure.
