ABSTRACT The finance works of a company, is needed to see the stregth and the weakness of company finance condition. Based on the statement, the research take the title “Evaluasi Kinerja Keuangan Pada Perusahaan Rokok Yang Listing Di Bursa Efek Jakarta”. The purpose of the research is to know the finance works of the cigarette company, in 1999 up to 2001 periodes. The analysis manners which are use, is finance report analysis with approximation ratio analysis by four finance ratio analysis, those are liquidity ratio, solvability rasio, activity ratio, dan profitability ratio. The calculation result of PT. BAT INDONESIA Tbk. In 1999 up to 2001 periodes of liquidity ratio has tendency increase, activity ratio has tendency decrease, solvability ratio has tendency increase, and profitability ratio has tendency increase. The calculation result of PT. GUDANG GARAM Tbk. In 1999 up to 2001 periodes of liquidity ratio has tendency decrease, activity ratio has tendency decrease, solvability ratio has tendency increase, and profitability ratio has tendency decrease. The calculation result of PT. H. M. SAMPOERNA Tbk. In 1999 up to 2001 periodes of liquidity ratio has tendency decrease, aktivity ratio has tendency increase, solvability ratio has tendency decrease, and profitability ratio has tendency decrease. The data analysis result totally show finance works of PT. BAT INDONESIA Tbk. has tendency increase in 1999 up to 2001 periodes. PT. GUDANG GARAM Tbk. has tendency decrease in 1999 up to 2001 periodes and PT. H. M. SAMPOERNA Tbk. has tendency decrease in 1999 up to 2001 periodes. Based on the conclusion, the implication are PT. BAT INDONESIA Tbk better increase the activity ratio, PT. GUDANG GARAM Tbk. and PT. H. M. SAMPOERNA Tbk. better to make restrategics planing to increase their finance works.
