Many differences of the diarrhea disease which infected to the children between 0- 5 years old and immediately needed a help, so the perfect care, but it is not of almost average family had been understood, so necessary knowledge is needed to made a decision and an exactly measurement. Depend on this fact, this research had been done for to know how far the correlation of the level family knowledge about diarrhea concerning to the rate of diarrhea disease for the children in 0 – 5 years old. Category of the research is belonging in the correlation of the description research which done for finding is there a correlation or not, and if exist how close of the correlation, and so how significance or not both of those relation. Collection or data interpretation have been taken off by questionnaire methods (spread questionnaire) for amount of 17 respondent with family characteristic who have the child between 0 – 5 years old, and the educational degrees at elementary school, junior high school and senior high school. From the data analysis, data have been got from the statistical calculation of product moment correlation test is amount of 0,10, and if it give an interpretation to the correlation could be get a conclusion that correlation of the family knowledge about diarrhea to the rate of diarrhea disease happened to the children about 0 –5 years old is in the very low correlation level
