Tourists will usually take time to eat at a local restaurant. This article will explain the Japanese hospitality in serving or what is known as Omotenashi. This term is to express hospitality, service, or heartfelt welcome to guests. Data from this paper was obtained from the result of interviews with Indonesians who had worked in Japanese restaurants, also based on observations and literature studies. The results of this study are the forms of hospitality encountered in restaurant service, good language ethics whics includes polite speech accompanied by appropriate body postures, namely by bending or ojigi to the customer. In addition the restaurant provides the right and correct service by maintaining cleanliness, discipline and good taste of food. Furthermore, restaurants must think about providing fast service such as providing examples of menus either in the form of imitations or photos of food complete with prices. The use of technology can also be used, for example food ordering ticket machines to help customers in time efficiency.
