Hospitality has the meaning of being friendly and generous in receiving and providing services to guests. Global industrial development needs to be accompanied by the continuity of tradition, so that people do not lose their identity. Omotenashi, which is rooted in tea ceremonies in Japan, has become a form of local wisdom that is growing in the services industry today. Omotenashi has three important elements, namely hitsurai, furumai, acd shikake these three elements are closely related to hospitality. This attitude has a purpose to bring comfort to tourists. Such convience drives the loyalty and loyalty of tourists. The principle value in the omotenashi is in accordance with the hospitality principle. From this description, it is important to do research on omotenashi, research conducted in the city of Yogyakarta. Through a qualitative descriptive study, it is expected to know important aspects of service delivery, especially in Japanese restaurants, so as to increase visitor loyalty.
