Abstract

ICT is increasingly demonstrating its existence in various spheres of human life, especially politic. As one form of ICT that has been rapidly adopted by Indonesian society, new media has given new color in the country's political nerve. This article will discuss the changing of Indonesian political communication during the adoption of new media. Using the analysis of the 2012 Jakarta governor election, therefore we can get an idea of how the new media provides a great opportunity for Indonesian society to achieve democratic political system.
