Development of systems to access the door, the use of power tools, database automation absent, schedule and user logger rooms inspired by the current trend in which all the lifestyle made automated, such as at Smarthome, SmartOffice and others. The purpose of this research is to develop smartlab that fits the needs of users in the computer lab STT PLN. Outcomes of this research is the design of an automatic locking and opening, as well as the laboratory door, the control system of the use of power tools. This research is a case study on a computer Lab Informatics Engineering STT PLN. development of the locking system and automatic opening of the door of the lab that are customized with id and a schedule that is connected with attendance and logbook database users at the computer lab informatics engineering. Id used is NIDN of lecture and NIM laboratory assistant who has a schedule listed in the database that have been fed on schedule teaching of majors.
