According to Law No. 26 of 2007 on Spatial Planning, Agropolitan Area is an area consisting of one or more centers in rural areas as agricultural production systems and management of certain natural resources which is indicated by the presence of functional interrelationships and settlement spatial unit system and agribusiness system. Several district in Indonesia have already apply the concept, including in this paper the district of Serang at Baros Subdistrict. This paper is describing what the agropolitan is, how it helps people and the implication of this concept in physical artifacts in Baros, Serang, Province of Banten, Indonesia.
