Abstract

Sudoku is a puzzle game on a board with 9x9 size that use number 1 to 9.This game was famous in 2005. Now it can be found on several media, on books or magazines and as a game program. Several programmer add a menu or modul to solve this game. Several algorithm has ben tested to solve this game. To achieve it’s solution need a lot of iteration. No algorithm has solve all variant of Sudoku Puzzle. With Genetic Algorithm, solution of this game is repressented with a cromosom as individual. Cromosoms that gathered in a population occurred several codition or process, from selection, mate or crossover, mutation, and generation replacement. Hopefuly cromosoms that pass is the best, representing the best solution. Test Result of the Sudoku puzzle with Genetic Algorithm, successfully gain the solution, even with many iteration or generation. In creating a puzzle, this algorithm is good enough. Maybe, this algorithm is less suitable for this probleme.
