Abstract

Remuneration system is one of many important aspects in any companies, because to every employee, salaries or wages are a reward for their effort and performance in work. To every important thing that happen inside a company, obviously needs a very well organised system, including in it are remuneration system that has a crucial role to company’s performance. A well known issues that often appear in any company’s remuneration system usually are in database handling, such as manually data look up method and data storage method, therefore a computer-based information system is needed especially in a human resources departement by developing remuneration information system in order to make data processing a lot easier from data searching until the making of employee’s salary data report. The usage of Waterfall software development metodologies which cover system engineering, system analysis, system design, coding, testing, and system maintenance are expected to be able to assist in the development of this remuneration system. The making of this remuneration aplication program are using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 with Microsoft Access database, and Crystal Report 8.5 as a supporting software in making the report. After passing implementation phase, some results are obtained that is data security more well guaranted because they have been provided with user validation process. And also employee’s data processing are much quicker, data storaging are much nattier, and in making the report requiring briefer time than before. Employee’s data report are made in order to give a needed information so any decision can be taken more precise to boosting up activity performance in the human resources departement so anything can be done as effective as and as efficient as possible.
