Abstract

Information system of officier functional promotion is one of the information systems exist in finance and development controlling institution (BPKP) branched West Java. This information system has objective to manage officier data who proposing to promote level and selected officier who has rights to promote to next level in certain period. In this activity the information system which develops is veri important because to prevent orror procedure in perfoming officier selection and data processing can be done well. System used in finance and development controlling institution (BPKP) in processing ang keeping data which still manual and not yet used application software specially handling officier promotion process, therefore there’s needed information system based computerization specially in human resource division with developing officier promotion information system to make easier in data processing starting from officier selection until making promotion decision letter. Information system of officier functional promotion including data processing of promotion level, activities which have been done and assessment result from constant report about promotion level while working at finance and development controlling institution (BPKP). The process which has been done is developing promotion information system that is used waterfall method and design conducted with flowmap, Data flow Diagram (DFD), while modeling has drawn with Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). After pass implementation level obtained result, that is data security more guarantee because completed with user validation. Besides that the data processing faster, data keeping nicely and time to make report has been shortly than before. The promotion report has objective to give an information which need so that the decision right to help activity performance do in human resource in order to perform effectively and efficiently as possible.
