This research aims to understand the role of 101.9 FM Cosmo Radio’s Public Relation through Off-Air Activity in promoting its Radio in Bandung City and obtain a clear illustration about types of off-air activity, media used, and delivered messages in promoting its Radio in Bandung City. This research uses a descriptive method, and its data collection was obtained by interviews and literature study, and it also total sampling technique in its sampling from engaged parties in off-air activity, such as PR and Cosmo Radio’s Crew Event. Results of research shows that in promoting of the Cosmo Radio in Bandung, off-air activity performed by Cosmo Radion Public Relation, for example, Panggung Joged Cosmo, Pasar to Pasar, Mall to Mall, Tabliq Akbar and Malam Mingguan. The media used are printed media such as Pikiran Rakyat and Galamedia newspapers as well as Street Banner, Flayers, and Electronic Media such as Radio and Televition. The content of message delivered by using of normative and persuasive messages formation. Based on above exposure it can be drawn a conclusion that Cosmo Radio Public Relation by its off-air activity in promoting its radio in Bandung City has an important role in reaching its organization target because the success of off-air activity is very dependent on itself Public Relation roles. Researcher’s recommendation to Public Relation Division in promoting Cosmo Radio through off-air activity is that such activity must not be always performed in same places but it can also be carried out in another strategic places for reaching its potential remote listeners, thus their audiences can be directly seen Cosmo Radio in their places.
