Abstract

Smallpox is one of skin disease type, where this disease groans at the time of condition of someone body is weakening, this disease has some the classification types, and this disease generally has symptom looking like other disease, so that if a laymen wish to know very difficult smallpox symptom, because limitation of medical knowledge owned by it, on that account I make a solution by using expert system, Expert system is a applicable system in so many science and technology to assist man thinking process. Expert system is one of artificial intelligence branch studying how imitating way an expert thought and having natural existence in finalizing a problems, makes decision and also takes conclusion to a number of the facts. System approach method which writer takes is paradigm Object Oriented, because this more method focussed to system which will be built. System development method which writer takes is prototype that is by collecting certain information about requirements of information of consumer quickly. Expert system designed able to assist in differentiating smallpox symptom with other disease by giving information which more pathological specific vaccinated, so that a laymen would easier to know smallpox, without having to comes to medical doctor beforehand.
