Abstract

the disease which is caused dry Caudida sN. is called Candidiasis Candilla cart live as a normal fora in the gastrointestinal tract, genital tract and oropharynx 77w immunity against Candida sly. is mainly mediated and performed by the T cells and macrophages 'The activity of tire T cell lymphocyte could he interfered by bisindolylinaleimides as a Protein Kinase C inhibitor. Protein Kinase C as an isoenzyme plan/s a very/ pivotal role to generate the signal in the transduction pathway/. Protein Kinase C C performs a very important role in carrying out cellular activity. Vie objective of the sturdy is to find out the difference of phagocytosis of Candida sly. conducted by/ Balb/c mice macrophages after the administration of bisindolylinaleimides hr this experiment the culture of peritoneal macrophage derived from Balb/c mice are treated with bisindolylmaleimides at various concentration varying from 5 ng/ml to 100 ng/ml for as long as 10 minute. 'linen the Candida sp. added are observed aftcr every 30 minute for as long 120 minute. As the experimental design is used the method of treatment by subject. Vie data consisting of the number of Candida sp. which is phagocytized is anal/zed applying the One War/ Anava to show the differences of each manipulation. Vic result of this experiment indicates, that the differences dealing with tire number of Candida sly. phagocytized at various concentration of bisindolylitialeimides are statistically significant (1)0,001). Further experiment on Protein Kinase C in particular the macrophage is of course extremely suggested.
