Abstract

Bluetooth at frequency band 2,4 GHZ ISM unlicensed ( Industrial, Scientific And Medical) by using a tranceiver hopping frequency capable to provide data communications service and voice by real-time between bluetooth host-host with limited service reach distance (around 10 - 100 metre). Wireless or of Nirkabel represent communications technology without cable with air transmission media and use radio frequency ( standard of IEEE802.11) in delivering sinyal / data. Research method the used is descriptive method of pure experiment and analysis. Research conducted in University Computer Indonesia of Bandung. used Instrument that is: 2 Unit of PC Pentium 4 with operating system of Microsoft Windows XP, Module of Bluetooth by using USB interface ( external), and internal Bluetooth, and Software computer network performance monitoring. Result of research got that Bluetooth put hand to frequency 2,4 GHZ by having speed access/ bandwidth equal to 1 Mbps. Bluetooth can use standard protocol of TCP / ip at Local Area Network ( LAN) with concept of PC to PC at experiment. System work bluetooth use two communications band, that is : band of Bluetooth LAN band and access of Bluetoothnullconnection.
