This study makes desktop application base LabVIEW 7.1 as interactive campus map for the new building of the Universitas Kompute Indonesia. This interactive map will help the students, teacher and visitor at the Universitas Komputer Indonesia to find their desired location. The user can search for a staff member by typing the name of the staff on the search menu, then the software will display the photo staff, the staff profile and map directions to the location of the staff room. Users can also find the location of the department or location of a seminar / university event using these search menu. In addition, guests who want to find a staff member may not know how to write the name of the staff correctly on the search menu. Someone named Aria can be written as Arya or Ariya. Then the program can automatically recognize the most similar staff name with the name that was written by the users. To assist the process of typing, then the system is equipped with word suggestion algorithm, so that when the user had written several letters, it will display a list of options location names that are similar to the arrangement of letters already typed. For each map shows routes that are served, the software will generate a QR Code, so that users can use the mobile phone to scan and download a map containing the route to the mobile phone. Making it easier for users to get to the desired location. On the menu "on-screen keyboard" features several quick buttons such as toilets, mosque, etc. that help users to be able to look faster.
