Abstract

Snapper fish production in Indonesia is still largely captured from the sea, and only a few of them that have been derived from the cultivation. One factor that has been hinder the development of farming the snapper fish is the difficulty of procuring seed in sufficient quantity and the time of breeding. There are some problems encountered during cultivation; how to diagnose whether such fish are infected or not, the etiological such as parasites attached to the fish, pH level too low, lack of oxygen and sudden changes in water temperature. All it can come to a solution and this can only be done by an expert in the field. In this study will be made android based applications using image processing for disease diagnosis snapper fish in order to provide information about the disease on the snapper and how the solutions to overcome them. Applications designed using the object approach with one of the tools is UML. From the results of the testing that has been done, this application is able to provide information about the disease of snapper and provide solutions to overcome them.
