Abstract

PT Nikkatsu Electrics Works is a company engaged in the manufacturing of power tools such as energy-saving lamps, ballasts and transformers. Transformer products section, there has been a problem particularly in quality control because there is a value of the goods defects. To cope with and provide solutions on existing problems in your company, quality control done statistically using the SPC (Statistical Processing Control) that have 7 (seven) major statistics tools namely cheek sheet, histogram, control charts, pareto charts, cause diagrm result, scatter diagrams, and process diagrams. The results of penetilitan showed the most dominant defect types from each production process of transformers. Types of defects are most dominant in the process of windding that is kind of low. Types of defects are most dominant in the process of assembling 1, the type of insulator does not center. Types of defects are most dominant in the process of assembling 2 types of disability, namely the swathe of wrinkles. The dominant defect types in a process packing the kind of label is damaged. Causes of types of disabilities are caused by material factors, human factors, environmental factors and methods factor.
