Language is a communication device used to share information. Most of country use English for conversation as the first language after their language itself. People use English in conversation to understand each other what they are talking about. This is meant to let the non-native speakers to have the easiest method to master English. So, it allows them to have a comprehensive understanding in something that has to do with English. Just like in the journalism object in The Jakarta Post for example, by publishing English newspaper, it is hoped that our society can learn English more easily. So besides giving us more information about the world, we can also learn English language. The content of this work field report is about the implementation of using English itself. The writer gets the information from the work field that was held on 12th to 13th July 2006. To know the implementation both in journalistic and teaching English, we visited The Jakarta Post and RELO in Jakarta. However, it presents the readers the real condition about the journalism object and language office, the way of the journalist work to create news and language office does to share knowledge in education field. Above all, the writer hopes that the readers can have the benefits on the next days.
