Nowadays, digital technology gives a way to access and distribute some information in digital formatted easier, one example of multimedia service is video. Video as a product from intellectual creation of human, that is product mixed between images and sounds, therefore it is essential for a multimedia executes process concept that can give copyrighted of distribution and making process in digitalization. Pirates or manipulation product problem from illegal parties it could be happened because of lost security from its product, so it becomes a problem for video provider. One way to overcome those problems are using of text encryption process, which were done with embedding text in a video with AVI format as input media. By using Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) algorithm compression which result image media (video in MPEG-2) as output video, and RSA algorithm as data message encryption. These processes were being done with efficiency measurement referred to quality embedded images with respect to encode process from manipulated digital video data. With the production of compressed video from AVI format to MPEG-2 video format, the video can analyzing before, it watermarked and preserved the authentication of digital video data.
