By using Short Message Service (SMS) Application on cellular, in case of SMS Gateway for bank technology with Data Request Service – Automatic Reply, SMS Sender and Reader, and Data Report using GSM modem that is connected to a computer as server, balance of account information service for customer and rate of interest bank information service for Bank BPR LPK Garut and BPR LELES could be accessed through SMS on cellular. The purpose of the design of the application is to help the Bank BPR LPK Garut and the customers of BPR LPK Garut in conveying important data information so that fastly accessed anywhere, anytime, without the constraints of distance, time and position of BPR LPK workers especially head of book keeping staff who need the information. And then as a facility for BPR LPK Customers to practically obtained numerous new information. The other purpose is to make the information during the data delivery process through SMS, secured and to avoid data tapping. After going through the phase according to the chosen research method, the result of the testing shows that this application can perform well and able to provide information according to the users’s demand.
