Abstract

In these days, AI (Artificial Intelligence) already became common issue that important and have seen in every field, like medical, industry, and including military. Mostly expert or specialist agreed that AI connected with two base of idea. First, about study how human think, two, about how to presenting or realization the process pass through machine (computer, robot, etc). Expert system is the system which is try adopt human knowledge to computer, in order to solve problem like anything need expert help. Good expert system designed to getting over with a certain problem with a capability an expert. With this expert system, any of common people can solve a complex problem which is need or only solved by expert help before. For the expert, this application also will help expert or specialist in working as system that well-grounded. The illness that related to nutrient contain data which is clearly with definition, symptoms, and treatment will easier common people or expert to used as knowledge base for handling a nutrient related disease. The implementation of the application valuation of nutrient status based on expert system develop by using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, which is have GUI (Graphical User Interface GUI) so it can help create a good interface for usage.
