Sperm motility is one of the essential factors in determining one's fertility. The objective of this study is to know the effect of pentoxi-phylin on sperm quality of normozoospermia and astenozoospermia in vitro. We took 60 semen samples where 30 were normozoospermia and the other 30 were astenozoospermia. After being washed by Hank solution, all samples were divided into two groups. The frst group was incubated with 1 mg/ml pentoxiphylin for 60 minutes and the second group was incubated without pentoxiphylin. Parameters examinedwere percentage of motile sperm, velocity of progressive movement, and penetration ability into cow cervical mucous. Percentage of motile sperm of the treated normozoospermia increased from 48.83 % to be ,55.5 % while in the treated astenozoospermia increased from 29.5 % to be 39.33 % . The velocity of progressive movement of treated normozoospermia increased from 40.3 um/second to be 44.8 um/second in the astenozoospermia increased from 28.3 um/second to be 36.5 um/second .The penetration ability into cow cervix mucous in cruising distance of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 cm increased, but the significant difference was only found on treated astenozoo spermia in 4 cm distance (p
