The purpose of this research. was to find the effect of administering Hibiscus rosa sinensis, L flower extract on the spermatogenetic process in ,Strain Al male mouse. The spermatogenetic parameters that were measured included the number of spermatogenetic cells in the testicles, sperm concentration in vas deferens, the testicle weight, and the tubulus seminiferus diameter. The subjects were 5 groups of mice that divided into 2 control groups (K1 and K2, placebo) and 3 treatment groups (E1, dose : 200 mg/kkbw; E2, dose : 2,50 mg/kkbw; and E3, dose : 300 mg/kkbw; The flower extract was administered orally once a day during one spermatogenetic cycle. The results showed that the administration of Hibiscus rosa sinensis, L flower extract at 250 mg/kkbw; can reduce the number of spermatogenetic cells-spermatogenium A cells, primary spermatocyte pakhiten, and spermatid-in the testicles. In addition, there was a significant reduction in the sperm concentration in vas deferens and the tubulus seminiferus diameter, especially at the dose of 300 mg/kkbw; The administration of Hibiscus rosa SINENSIS L flower extract at all treatment doses, however, did not affect the testicle weight.
